Role Summary/Purpose: The Plant Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long:term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. The Plant Manager will be the visible and active leader of the facility, promoting a favorable and productive environment for all employees.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Plant Manager, Orange, TX, you will:
:Promote a working environment to achieve excellence in productivity, customer service, quality, and EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety)
:Drive initiatives to maximize employee contribution and drive improvements in product quality
:Be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all Operations and Services functions at the
:Work closely with EHS Manager to ensure strict compliance to SWPPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan), SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure) and all other applicable environmental permits
:Lead the effort to develop and implement plans to meet the customers requirements for product quality, cost and delivery
:Develop and manage budgets to approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials, labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets
:Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments
:Be responsible for the day:to:day operations at this site including all aspects from the reception of raw materials through the delivery of finished product
:Oversee the Preventive Maintenance program, develop Capital Project justifications, provide engineering expertise and oversight of capital project execution
:Determine root cause and implement corrective action through required change control for any assigned customer quality issues
:Drive growth and change in a fast:moving, high:energy environment
:Promote the use of six:sigma methodology in driving plant quality improvements
