Job Description
Our technicians work on chemical plants and refineries to tag components, monitor for leaks, and perform other duties as assigned. x200B; Technicians are the life blood of IPR:EMS. They interact with operators and other technicians on a daily basis to ensure EPA compliance. This position is a great opportunity to receive exposure to the oil and gas industry.
A strong work ethic with experience in working outside is the key for success within the position. A technician will work under the guidance of our on:site supervisor. The technician will use a TVA or PHX 21 on a daily basis to record possible leaks throughout the refinery.
Compensation
This positions pay ranges from 13:15 per hour for Level I Technicians. During the initial 90:day probationary period, trainees are expected to pass Technician I Certification Testing. Depending upon work site, pay increases may be initiated when certification testing is successfully completed.
Requirements
TWIC card strongly preferred
Industrial/plant experience strongly preferred
Must be able to work in various weather temperatures and be able to work at heights
Ability to work and communicate effectively as a team member
Qualify on pre:employment tests and assessments
